Preparing for its sixth season, Once Upon a Time continues to enhance and broaden its story with its distinguished cast. The production, attending this year’s Comic Con with several of its actors, reveals two new additions to the team.

The new season features Aladdin and his nemesis Jafar. Actor Oded Fehr has been cast as Jafar. Turkish-Australian actor Deniz Akdeniz, who starred in episodes of Covert Affairs, Sleepers Cell and finally Stitchers, will be portraying Aladdin in the upcoming season. During the Comic Con panel, the production shared an exclusive Aladdin and Jafar moment.

Born in 1987 in Melbourne, Australia, Deniz Akdeniz previously made appearances in Graceland, South Beach and Code Black. New season of Once Upon a Time starts September 25th.
