Produced by Gold Film, "Heartbreak" stars Gizem Karaca, Caner Cindoruk, Rıza Kocaoğlu and Naz Elmas. The cast also features Derya Alabora, Mehmet Çevik, Yıldız Kültür, Mine Teber and Sitare Akbaş.  Written by Zülküf Yücel and Zehra Yücel, the series is directed by Faruk Teber.

Nazlı is a 24-year-old beautiful girl suffering from a congenital heart disease resulting in an enlarged heart. Her only chance of survival is organ transplantation. Nazlı’s father chooses to hide Nazlı’s condition from everyone and from Nazlı as there is no organ match. Nazlı sells her mother’s home-made pastry to support the family. One day, as she is working, Nazlı meets Fırat, who owns a construction company. Incidentally, Fırat is caught in an armed attack set up by his nemesis Cemil. In the last minute, Nazlı saves Fırat’s life that leads to what can only be called love at first sight. Yet Nazlı has to end things before it is too late; as she found out one day before, she’s going to die unless she gets a new heart.
