Diriliş “Ertuğrul”: A crippled and disgraced exile

Diriliş “Ertuğrul” (Resurrection “Ertuğrul”) Episode 34 Summary

The beys of the Kayı and Dodurga camps are not aware of neither Korkut and Tuğtekin’s political aspirations, nor Noyan’s undermining them.

Despite his crippled hand, Ertuğrul is determined to continue fighting on his own. Naturally his heroes Doğan, Turgut, and Madman Demir is on his side.

Ertuğrul, knowing that the Mongols recruit Turkish warriors, plans to plant Abdurrahman in the Mongolian group. However Abdurrahman is sentenced to death for treason. Neither Gündoğdu and Hayme nor Ertuğrul want to let Abdurrahman die, because Süleyman Şah trusted them with him. But Gündoğan and Hayme’s hands are tied. Ertuğrul sees this and with the freedom granted by his dismissal of other duties he manages to set Abdurrahman free.

Hayme, knowing that Ertuğrul was involved with Abdurrahman’s escape, banishes her son from the camp to prevent further problems. Ertuğrul is now a crippled and disgraced exile.

The new episode of Diriliş “Ertuğrul” is on 18 November Wednesday at 20:00 on TRT1.
