Diriliş “Ertuğrul” (Resurrection “Ertuğrul”) Episode 29 Summary

The Mongols led by Noyan come as far as Erzurum. Kayıs and Dodurgas are fighting alongside the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Kayqubad. One of their greatest warriors Ertuğrul Bey is captured by Noyan. He is torturing Ertuğrul to make him change sides. But Ertuğrul refuses to fight for him, evoking his wrath. The moment that death seems certain he manages to escape despite his suffering. But he runs into Tangut and Mongol soldiers. Noyan spreads terror among his forces for letting Ertuğrul escape. Will Ertuğrul succeed?

At the council the Dodurga and Kayı heroes are restless because Mother Hayme has given the command of her heroes to her ambitious nephew Tuğtekin. Meanwhile Korkut Bey’s and Aytolun’s political aspirations increase the tension between the two camps. Tuğtekin, Gündoğdu and the heroes are ambushed and they think that it is an inside job. Will Dodurga and Kayı heroes survive this ambush?

A pregnant Halime is ruined to hear her husband’s death. Her mother-in-law Hayme and Selcan are all she’s got. She tries to cling to life for her baby. And Selcan is about to split with Gündoğdu because of her recurrent miscarriages.
