Bensu Soral’s name has been mentioned for the part of Kösem Sultan since the casting has begun for Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem Sultan (Magnificent Century Kösem Sultan). 

Her agent recently published a statement:

The rumours of Bensu Soral portraying Kösem Sultan have been circulating since the first day of the series’ casting. However they don’t reflect the truth. Our client is the lead actress of the series Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar (Pretty Little Liars) on Star Tv. After its finale on the 13th episode, Soral will take some time off from TV series.
